When I first met Andrea & Kimi from Apres Rental they “warned” me that they get attached to people, so I’d better follow through and call them back. I knew right then we’d hit it off.
Apres Rental is an amazing full service rental shop that just relocated to 5801 Clearwater Drive, Minnetonka. Their new showroom is several times larger than their previous showroom and they were ecstatic to have the opportunity to design entirely new display fixtures to best show off their products.
They were also on a pretty tight schedule, not having their linens properly displayed in the rental line of business means loss of sales. We felt the need to get it done quickly and get it done right.
Though I was asked to come in and consult wearing my designer hat, it was clear from my first meeting with Kimi and Andrea that they had put a lot of thought into their needs and the best ways to display their product. They are also excellent communicators! Kimi gave me a “sketch” that she begrudgingly admitted to doing in Paint, that I gave directly to our drafting department to start with. Her ability to visualize the finished product is a skill I’m not used to finding when I meet with customers. It made for very clear dialogue and together we met the needs and expectations for their display.
