We love unique projects.  No customer is as bold with their look as The Hard Rock Cafe is.

The Tampa airport Hard Rock Cafe was one of the most creative jobs that we’ve ever executed.  Taking the conceptual plans from the design team and applying them to reality with value engineering to keep the project on budget was a huge challenge.  Because it’s in the airport, the exterior was to have an airplane skinned look.  We stepped far outside of the confines of a wood shop to execute this and other challenges; there was a lot of glass and welding and wallpapered interior display cases.

There’s a certain buzz of excitement in our shop when working on such a project- “did you see the fabric that came in for the Hard Rock Booths?  How cool is that?!”  Hardware.  Laminate.  Metal contouring.  The attention to detail by the designers is amazing and fun.  For our part- we have the perfect fab shop for the job.  We’re capable and creative.  While we love the specs that come in we have experience in the area and often times we can suggest a way to make a design more cost effective or suggest alternatives for hardware or materials that are hard to attain.  We work well with designers and architects to achieve the end result.
