We love a challenge. This custom walnut bench was something of a dare to us. Pitch Pizzeria, a lovely restaurant in Omaha (that many of us wish was local- following their mouthwatering food pics on Instagram) expressed a desire for a new bench in their waiting area, something of a focus piece.
They wanted something beautiful and branded. Something sturdy and organic. Something unique.
After a few mockups, the wood was carefully selected. We researched different ways to brand the bench, even looking at chemical branding and wood burning. We settled on carving with our CNC and “filling” with paint so that the CNC strokes would be completely hidden. We’re pretty proud of the finished results!
